This prestigious event, held as part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, saw over 500 young competitors from across the state gather to test their skills in sporting clays, skeet, and 5-stand. The competition, hosted by the Ranching and Wildlife Committee, aims to promote ranching, wildlife, and conservation while supporting youth involvement in shooting sports.

  • Skeet Champion: In a thrilling performance, Elliott ran a perfect 50 straight to win the skeet finals, held in front of a packed pavilion crowd!
  • Top 5 Finishes: He placed in the top 5 in all three preliminary rounds, facing off against 138 shooters in each discipline. He ultimately secured 3rd in Five Stand and 6th in Sporting Clays.
  • Prize Haul: Elliott's impressive performance earned him over $4,200 in prize money, along with buckles, coolers, and other exciting prizes.

Following his impressive showing in Houston, Elliott Wiley is heading to San Antonio, Texas, this weekend to compete in the San Antonio Rodeo Shoot at the National Shooting Complex.
